This page has the list of all fields in the CHAVI database.


CHAVI hosts a wealth of clinical data related to the patients from whom the images have been obtained. This data is available in a relational database which allows you to construct complex queries to search the image data. Thus not only can you access this data of the dataset as a whole but you can also access data across different projects. The database architecture is described in the database page. This page has the list of all available database fields for which clinical data may be available. Please note that data in all fields may not be available for all patients.

Data Base Table Name patientinfo: Patient basic demographic information is captured here. Diagnosis data is linked to this. Also links to habits table, familyhistory,mensthistory and survival tables.

Data Base Table Name survival: This table contains the information on the duration of survival of the patient. As the patient can be dead or alive the survival table is linked to the patientinfo table and not to the disease diagnosis tables. Queries can be used to obtain information on when the patient died after the diagnosis of a disease. The table is linked to the following table: patientinfo

Data Base Table Name recurrence: This table details the recurrences experienced by the patient for each diagnosis. This table allows the user to store data on tumor responses to therapy also. Since recurrence may occur independently for each diagnosis, the recurrence table is linked to the diagnosis table. The table is linked to the following tables: diagnosis. In this table, recurrence or progression can be entered.
